Dr Bronte Moon - MBBS FRACGP
Hi I'm Dr Bronte,
I grew up in Mount Isa and completed my Medical School with James Cook University in Townsville and Mackay. Once I finished my degree I returned to my hometown where I worked for 2 years. At Mount Isa Hospital I rotated around the different departments, but my interests lay with women's health, paediatrics, skin cancer management and palliative care medicine. I live with my husband with our three large and fluffy dogs. I was fortunate enough to complete 2 medical school placements out here in Cloncurry which inspired me to continue my path of rural medicine and return so that I can learn from this community. I came out to Cloncurry to learn how to be an amazing General Practitioner and in 2023 gained my Fellowship in General Practice.
Dr Andrew Cahoon MBBS

Dr Cahoon is married with 4 children - so he spends most of his spare time trying to entertain his kids - which usually involves playing monster, swimming and board games. He speaks English and Italian. He has an interest in Emergency Medicine, General Practise and Rural Health.
Dr Jenny Steven MBBS
Hi! I’m Dr Jenny.
I’m training to become a rural generalist, a GP with special interest and skills to care for people in rural and remote places. I am a GP registrar with ACRRM. I gained my post-grad medical degree (MD) from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2019. Since then I have worked in the Mackay and Ingham regions. My medical interests are broad. I especially enjoy the “general” part of general practice. I aim to be an excellent, caring rural doctor with special skills in mental health, palliative care and Aboriginal health. Before medical training I worked in nature conservation and research funding in New Zealand. I still have a love of wild places including life on remote islands. Horse riding adventures are my most recent passion. Although I did some of my training in remote WA, I am new to outback Queensland. I look forward to being of service to the people of Cloncurry and surrounds, and learning what has shaped your lives and what continues to influence your health.
