ALERT: If you have flu-like symptoms, including a fever, cough, headache, sore throat or shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste it is important you seek medical care early as these may be COVID-19 symptoms. Please contact us via phone (07) 4426 2100 prior to making a booking or visiting the medical centre. Please advise at the time of booking if you have been in an area identified as a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 2 weeks or you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. Thank you.

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
Appointments
A standard appointment at a Ramsay Street General Practice are 15 minutes. Procedures, in general, will require a longer appointment. If you need more time with the doctor, please tell the receptionist when you make your booking. In general appointments can be obtained within 2 working days.
Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly.
An interpreter may be arranged with prior notice. You must notify the receptionist if your appointment is urgent to be given a priority appointment.

Handy Information
House Calls
Home calls are available if you are too sick to come to the surgery. Please ring early as home visits are scheduled prior to lunch. Please note that geographical limits do apply.
Telephone Calls
Although it is always better to discuss any problems face to face with your nurse or doctor you can however contact a nurse or doctor by ringing during surgery hours. Emergency calls will always be put straight through.
Communication with Practice
All communication with the practice should be made via telephone. We do not correspond via email. To make an appointment you can either telephone the practice or use our online appointment system available above on our website.

All patient details and medical records are strictly confidential.
